A group tours a church in the ancient monastic community
in the Cappadocia region of Asia Minor. The small hand-dug
caves are now part of the Goreme Open-Air Museum, although
some are still used. The first cave dwellings were made
by early Christians. Inhabitants here included Basil,
Gregory of Nyssa and his brother George. Together they
helped develop the doctrine of the Trinity.
